Matze becomes a bookworm?

As someone who doesn't like to read books, that's a pretty ironical title, ey? Watch this weeks video or read this blog post to find out about it as well as what's next.
Matze reads books?
Heck yes I did. I'm still surprised by that, but I was able to read 3 books in 1 week. One book I can highly recommend: 3D-Gospel by Jayson Georges (de: Mit anderen Augen). It talks about the 3 main culture types of this world and how we can share the gospel in each culture. We Western people live in a GUILT-culture, so if we do something wrong, we need to make it right again. We can forgive and it's done. People in Asia, the Middle East etc are living in a SHAME-culture. If you do something wrong you're excluded from the group and left without social life. (That's why it's so hard for Muslims to convert, because they've brought shame on their family and the whole family has lost it's status in front of the society ...) People in tribes are generally living in a FEAR-culture. Believing that there's spirits, good and evil, they constantly live in fear of doing wrong, because then they get punished by these spirits.
I can highly recommend this book to y'all, not just if you're working with other cultures! It helped my to get a broader picture of the gospel and the bible, because it speaks to all of them! It also helps you to understand how the other 6 billion people feel who don't live in our Western world.
Time to relax
Other than reading books, I was able to relax, calm down and enjoy life and nature! We enjoyed our time there and I even shot some pics on my old analog film camera :-)
Crazy week ahead
I'm now back in travel service. This week is all about planning and preparation, but next week will be crazy ... I'll be going to Lübeck, Magdeburg, Mülheim and Solingen in just a week .. It's awesome to have so many opportunities to speak in churches and small groups and visit friends. But after this week, I guess I'm really exhausted. You'll see in the next video :-)

Changing my videos
As you've probably noticed, I'll be changing my videos to just 1 video in 1 language. It's just not possible to keep doing 2 videos every 2 weeks ... While I'm in Germany, I'll be talking in German, but whenever I'm outside (UK, US, Africa), I'll be speaking in English as this is more natural and easier. I'd love your feedback on whether I should do subtitles or voice overs in the other language! Please let me know what's best for you!
